The Sonitek SoniBox sound enclosure is our small sound enclosure that can easily fit onto the base of your Ultrasonic Welder. Below is a photo and PDF drawings of it:

Key Details:

• Custom Built to Your Equipment: Each SoniBox is custom built to fit your specific ultrasonic welder. To ensure an accurate fit, we will need a CAD model of your press/actuator. If you have parts, fixtures, or a film feeder in the weld area, please also provide CAD models so we can ensure clearance and cut the enclosure to accommodate them.
• Lead Time: Because each unit is custom built, lead times are longer than standard products. Contact us for current lead time estimates.
• Noise Reduction: The SoniBox uses closed-cell foam wrapped in aluminum foil to reduce ultrasonic welding noise. The actual decibel reduction will vary depending on the type of plastic being welded and the amplitude used.
• Clean Room Friendly: The closed-cell foam and aluminum foil construction makes every SoniBox easy to wipe down and suitable for clean room environments. Please note that our enclosures have not been formally certified to a specific clean room classification.
